Gucci is now Pinnable!
Pinterest isn’t all that popular locally here in KL, but it’s really Big elsewhere, especially in the West. I, too, was a little late to jump on the Pinterest bandwagon, but finally succumbed a couple of months ago, and as you might (or might not) have noticed, I have installed a Pinterest widget on my right sidebar so that you can see my latest pins. Like any other social media, Pinterest is super-addictive once you get started. I must admit, though, that I haven’t really been pinning too much, not because I don’t like it because God knows, I’ve so much to pin but not nearly enough time to do so. Now, if only there were 48 hours in a day instead of 24 and all of us would get a whole lot more done!
In fact, lots of other brands have Pinterest accounts. To promote its Fall/Winter 2012-13 collecction, Gucci, too, has started to value the perks of Pinterest as it ventures further into the digital domain. The brand has teamed up with rookie social advertising company, Triple Lift, to create directly pinnable images directly from the brand’s banner ads.
