First Look At Bottega Veneta’s AOC FW16 FULL Advertising Campaign

Bottega Veneta’s Art of Collaboration Fall/Winter 16 advertising campaign is once again captured by Dutch photographer Viviane Sassen. Starring models Simon Fitskie and Rianne Von Rompaey, the campaign was shot in Sicily, with the Grande Cretto by postwar Italian artist Alberto Burri as the backdrop. This massive work of art, conceived as a memorial to the village of the obliterated Gibellina which was struck by an earthquake in 1968, spans across 80,000 square metres. These gigantic concrete blocks are accented by an infinity of cracks (or “cretto”) between them, are symbolic of a celebration of life and art.

Bottega Veneta Creative Director Tomas Maier comments,

“Viviane’s photography has an inescapable enigmatic quality to it, a refinement and acute independence. Together we have explored both the artistic landmarks for the campaigns that are more than a backdrop but rather an added voice to our collaboration”

Now here’s a look at the campaign film and behind-the-scenes video
