Karl Lagerfeld turned Chanel‘s Spring/Summer 19 runway show, into an elaborate show set complete with a man-made beach that was full for fun and vibrance. The SS19 campaign, however, featured something dreary and foreboding, with a plain black backdrop, shot in a studio, with none of that youthful and fun spirit that we saw during the show. Perhaps he had a sense of what was to come for him?

Anyway, here’s Karl’s final campaign he shot for Chanel. Styled by Carine Roitfeld, the campaign stars models Vittoria Ceretti, Sarah Dahl, Adesuwa Aighewi, Hyun Ji Shin, Rebecca Leigh Longendyke, Nora Attal and Kris Grikaite.
