Burberry Kisses – The Latest Groundbreaking Digital Innovation

Burberry, the leader of the fashion pack when it comes to digital technology, has just taken it a step further! Their latest endeavour, called Burberry Kisses, is the result of a partnership with Google on a development of “Kiss Recognition Technology”, which, through a webcam, detects a kiss – a massive feat in itself because lips are the most difficult to detect. Once that has been processed, you can go ahead and add a personalised message.

Once you’ve sent your kiss, , you can follow the journey of the Kiss and share them with friends on Google+ as well as across social media platforms. Burberry Kisses will also be captured on a real-time interactive map: choose between “Live Kisses” to see recent kisses making their way around the world, or “All Kisses” which shows the top cities in the world that are receiving and sending the most kisses.

Creative Director, Christopher Bailey on Burberry Kisses: “[It] began with the idea of giving technology a bit of heart and soul, and using it to unite the Burberry family across the world – by telling a story that makes the digital personal”
