For the Fall/Winter 2017 Advertising Campaign, Bottega Veneta has once again collaborated with photographer Todd Hido. This second consecutive campaign by Hido, shot at Lee House 2 in New Canaan in Connecticut, stars Eva Herzigova, Mariacarla Boscono, Grace Chen and Simon Nessman. 

Creative Director Tomas Maier comments,

“I love architecture, which is why we always shoot our campaigns in world-renowned buildings. … Todd is known for his moody interior shots, but his personal imagery is unlike any other. His use of light creates both a connection with, and a distance from his subjects. At the same time, both [the SS17 and FW17] campaigns that he has shot are about embracing women and men of every age, and celebrating their style”

Hido also says that he was really inspired by “that white background [because it] really brought out the colors of the clothing in a way that I had not seen before. It reminded me of how a cardinal looks so vibrant in the snow.”
