Shot by Tyrone Lebon at Joshua Tree in Los Angeles, the first thing you’d probably notice about Bottega Veneta‘s women’s and men’s Fall 2019 advertising campaign is that bright gold supercar suspended in the backdrop. And this, is Creative Director Daniel Lee’s vision of luxury.

Juxtaposed against the graphic silhouettes of the Fall 2019 collection, the car functions as a postmodern symbol of status, glamour and reflection (hence the mirrored-finished gold); of man and woman against machine. Yet, it also parallels the meticulous precision that goes into constructing both the supercar, and the collection.
