
Bottega Veneta’s Cruise 2012 Ad Campaign
As you might have read in a previous post, Bottega Veneta’s Cruise 2012 collection is expected in stores this month. To kick start the Cruise 2012 season, the brand has launched their Cruise 2011-12 Ad Campaign.
This ad campaign is a collaboration with contemporary photography artist, Mona Kuhn, who is best known for her photographs of nudes. Mona was Creative Director, Tomas Maier’s choice because he “wanted to express a closeness in this campaign, the kind of intimacy that is at the heart of Mona’s images”. And the result? An ad campaign that is really different from the rest. The pale skin of the ALMOST nude guy sets off the reddish tones, producing a vibe that is truly ethereal, and dreamlike. Sculptural even.
