Bottega Veneta SS16 Ad Campaign

Bottega Veneta collaborates with Dutch photographer Viviane Sassen for the Art of Collaboration Spring/Summer 16 advertising campaign, starring models Mica Arganaraz and Sven De Vries. Shot at the Jardin d’émail by Jean Dubuffet in the sculpture gardens of the Kroller-Muller Museum in Otterlo, this stunning black-and-white artwork brings a Modernist vibe, with the clothes juxtaposed beautifully against the sculptural installation in the background.

The Dutch photographer’s work was strongly influenced by the people, colours, and the play between light and darkness during her childhood in Kenya, Africa.

Bottega Veneta Creative Director Tomas Maier comments,

You can’t help but to be drawn to her images, her atmospheres and the distinct sense of mystery she creates. I admire her bold experimentation and how she breaks the rules yet never loses her balance.

Love the previous season’s campaign, but I love this so much more, possibly because I’m drawn to monochromatic backgrounds and motifs!

Now, feast your eyes on the SS16 campaign film!
