Invitation to Hermes “Heart and Crafts” Documentary – One Day Only!

Today, Stylicious Fashionista was invited to the Hermès media preview of the “Hearts and Crafts” documentary at GSC Pavilion. I’m not going to spoil the documentary for all of you, but let’s just say that it is a homage to all Hermes artisans; an insight to the Hermès artisans at work, and you’ll get a glimpse of not just the way in which the bags are made, but also the jewelry, scarves, the saddles, and the crystalware. And let me tell you, each artisan makes an Hermes bag from A-Z, meaning it isn’t like how it is in most design houses (i.e. certain specialize in stitching, cutting the patterns, etc). Instead, it’s truly 100% made, cut, stitched and assembled by the SAME artisan from start to finish.

This film, directed by Frédéric Laffont & Isabelly Dupuy-Chavanatis, is released in celebration of Hermes’s theme for the year entitled “Contemporary artisan since 1837”. Here’s the invitation:
