Event Post: Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Pavilion KL Flagship Store Opening

Over a week ago, in conjunction with the Pavilion KL Pit Stop event, Jaeger-LeCoultre unveiled the opening of its flagship store at Pavilion KL. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officiate the opening, we headed on over to the mall’s Centre Court, where archival pieces and Limited Editions such as the Artistic Mysterieuse, Grand Complication Reverso Gyrotourbillon Tribute, Master Minute Repeater Ultra Thin, as well as enamel pieces with Van Gogh’s paintings, all of which that were specially flown in for the event and on display in glass cases around the stage, as well as in the boutique.

Circa 1900, this Pendant watch features an ornamental translucent enamelled “bow” brooch with 3 antique-cut brilliant diamonds at the centre of the bow’s knot, with a Diamond-set miniature enamel painting encased in 18-carat yellow gold.

1907, Calibre 145, the thinnest pocket watch in the world, measuring only 1.38mm, with a “knife-shaped” case less than 4mm in thickness.

After the welcome address by Jaeger-LeCoulture’s Deputy CEO Geoffrey LeFebvre, Canadian singer Janaia serenaded us as models strutted down the catwalk to showcase stunning Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces.

All of us were then invited to discover the impressive 1,500 square-feet flagship boutique located on Pavilion KL’s second floor, which is:

“designed to reflect the serene atmosphere of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture Valée de Joux in Switzerland, the Art Deco aesthetic is prominent in the design of all Jaeger-LeCoulture’s boutiques across the globe is consistent with the brand’s identity” – Geoffrey Lefebvre
