Month has just kicked off this week with NYFW, and this time around, and here in KL, begins the onslaught of a series of events. First up, Fendi’s Fall/Winter 2014 preview at the Pavilion KL boutique held on Wednesday, September 3. What made it exceptionally different this time around, was that Anna Fendi – one of the 6 Fendi sisters and mum to Creative Director Silvia Venturini Fendi – was specially flown in by Pavilion KL for the launch of the “60 years of Made in Italy” Exhibit so she graced us with her presence at the event!

Major love for this! The way the light sparkles and bounces off this beaded mini baguette is just to Die For!

And then there’s the Made-to-Order section of the store, where you can choose your hardware, skins, and details for your very own Bespoke Peekaboo for that’s truly one-of-a-kind.

Encased within, are the metal plaques, leathers and skins from exotic ostrich, python, croc, leather, beaded and even of the embroidered varieties.

That Blue monster is rather adorable don’t you think?

And of course, not forgetting Karlito, which has its very own hashtag. So sought after that it’s waitlisted worldwide because there just aren’t enough to go around. Apparently though, this was specially brought in for the event, but it isn’t available for purchase in Malaysia due to certain laws that are in place.

And before I bid adieu, a photo with Anna Fendi in the flesh! Such a regal woman she is, don’t you think? To think I almost didn’t make it for the event…
