What are the first thoughts that come to mind when you hear the words “Glam Rock”? Well depending on the era to which you belong, it could either mean David Bowie, or Adam Lambert….. Well, whoever it is, you’re probably expecting lots of sequins, and eyeliner, correct? Well you’re probably right… UNTIL Diane von Furstenberg came along and gave us HER (re)interpretation of Glam Rock as “the rock star and the muse of her own life; her clothes are her friends. Life is a party”.

And a party it certainly was at the recent “Glam Rock” Fall 2013 event held at the DvF boutique in KLCC on October 8th. Fashion media peeps, along with DvF’s VIP customers were treated to a preview of the Fall 2013 collection, complete with an in-store fashion show, with champagne, canapes and some photobooth fun!

So what I got up to before the fashion show started:
