Bottega Veneta held their Spring/Summer 15 preview at the Pavilion store, where all VIP customers and members of the fashion media, got a first look at the latest collection.

After writing about the new facelifted Veneta bag, I finally got to see it, and let me tell you it’s even more gorgeous in the flesh because the photos simply didn’t do the bag justice at all. The handle is super padded and spongy, making it super comfortable on the shoulder. What makes it all better is that the pretty pastel colour palette for SS15! Ask anyone who was there with me, and they’d be able to vouch that I was swooning over the bags in lilac and the baby blue, especially the Mini Roma!

Yet another piece I had my eyes on was this gorgeous Montebello clutch because I liked that the signature weave went from small and medium, to a large oversized weave at the back! The ombré effect at the edges surrounding the entire clutch also created a refreshing ‘framing’ effect.

Meet a variant of the Rialto bag, in navy suede with micro intrecciato leather. At RM 9000++, it’s a rather fair price I’d say, especially when it’s the only one in Malaysia!

Olimpia in Intrecciato Tobu Ayers, RM 13,000++

Created with a special technique, the Olympia in Tobu Ayers utilises a special technique to create the “unfinished” effect of the weave. It’s not that it wasn’t properly tucked in, but is in fact meant to look like its namesake, because “Tobu” means “flying/floating” in Japanese.

Nicknamed the “Ballerina” bag, this glossy Karung and leather bag is also another exclusive piece. However, the most precious piece of all, is this Limited Edition Knot clutch, with a floral garden carved into the leather, and embellished with real gemstones, particularly aquamarine and milky aquamarine.
