Last Friday (July 11th), I headed down to Singapore for the Bottega Veneta private cocktail party to celebrate their newly reopened boutique, and of course, while I was there, the Great Singapore Sale too. Measuring 435 square metres, the Marina Bay Sands store has more than doubled its size and has expanded upwards, morphing into a duplex – women’s on the lower level and men’s on the upper level. The boutique houses not just Men’s and Women’s leather goods, shoes and Ready-to-Wear, but also jewellery, luggage, eyewear, fragrances and home furnishings.

But the icing on the cake was definitely the windows that showcased the giant Blythe dolls, there to greet us at the entrance before heading into the store. These Blythe dolls are currently on a world tour that began during the Spring/Summer 2015 fashion week show. The dolls have since made their way to Japan, and America. Currently in Singapore until THIS Sunday, 20th July, Blythe is dressed in Bottega Veneta’s Early Fall collection.
