Remember last year’s Furla x Hello Kitty collection? That collaboration was so successful, that they’re back for the second consecutive year! Last year’s capsule featured a floral motif backdrop featuring the world’s favourite feline. This year’s edition is all about a galactic vibe, featuring not just Hello Kitty, but yet another favourite Sanrio character, My Melody as well!

The 2019 Capsule features 3 different space-themed prints: a bright red one with Kitty gazing out from her space rocket (aptly called the Missile print) while travelling through the solar system, a navy blue constellation print, known as Stars, with My Melody sitting smack in the middle of Saturn, and Planets, with Hello Kitty hiding behind Saturn. You’d find all of these prints on Furla favourites, such as the small and medium Metropolis, the XL Envelope, which is essentially a zip-top pouch which comes with a wrist strap, and the Mini Cosmetic Case which is a miniature version of the Metropolis, which is usually used as a bag charm or mini cosmetics pouch for on-the-go touch-ups.

Like last year’s Capsule, there will also be flaps for the #MyPlayFurla Metropolis Mini Bag which comes with a Hello Kitty and My Melody character’s head, with 3D bows on a pink and blue body, or, if you already have this version of the Metropolis, you can get just the flaps on their own. Also, new for the 2019 Hello Kitty Capsule, Furla will be launching what they’ve called “printed fabric bands”, known as the Kitty Bandeaux, which, are, well twillys.

Okay, so you My Melody and Hello Kitty fans are probably dying to know when this collection is going to land in stores. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled because they will be dropping next month, in May! 😉
