It’s time for Cruise Collections again, and I present to you Burberry Prorsum’s Cruise Collection for 2012.

Wristlets and boxy small bags seem to be the key trend for Burberry Prorsum’s Cruise 2012 collection for women while the oversized tote seems to be the shape of the season for men. Whilst their Fall/Winter 2011-12 accessories collection seem to be slightly more muted with olives, and burnt oranges (with some reds and turquoises thrown into the mix), the colour palette for the 2012 Cruise collection seems to go back to this year’s Spring/Summer 2011 trend ala the Burberry Brights collection, with flourescent yellow, mustards and aqua. The key detail of the season seems to be rather tribal-esque with tribal inspired patterns and wooden beads and raffia. Perhaps Africa was the key inspiration for creative director Christopher Bailey?
