It’s no secret that I’m a MASSIVE fan of Louis Vuitton‘s  Petite Malle clutch ever since it launched, along with its several other incarnations that came after – the Essential Trunk and the roomier Trunk Clutch, which is essentially a crossbody bag in a camera bag style which converts into a clutch. And now, the all-new Trunk Chain Wallet, is no exception, because I love it equally as much.

Essentially meant to be a WOC, the Trunk Chain Wallet is similar in size to the Petite Malle but softer and less structured, yet due to the Epi leather, still holds its shape. Fitted with the same matellage pattern (the graphic diamond-shaped backing) on the inside, with its 6 card slots, flat interior pocket and zippered pocket, that means you can fit more in here than the hard-cased Petite Malle, though perhaps slightly more casual in style. Available only in black or rose ballerine (pastel pink) Epi leather, it also comes with a detachable chain shoulder strap, making it a great day-to-night bag which can easily take you from errand runs to cocktail hour.
