Valentino’s Tiger 1967 Capsule for the Lunar New Year
It’s T-4 days till we welcome the Year of the Tiger! And, in the spirit of the majestic feline, which also happens to be one of Valentino‘s icons, the Maison changes things up and serves up the tiger print, in pink, blue, and natural (beige) colourways instead of the traditional orange and black Siberian tigers that we are used to.
Oh, and if you’re wondering, why it’s called the Tiger 1967 Capsule, that’s because it takes inspiration from the archives, particularly the first look from the Haute Couture Fall/Winter 1967-68 collection, and the iconic image of Veruschka in a tiger coat for American Vogue‘s October 1967 issue shot by Franco Rubartelli.
Comprising the Valentino Garavani Locò Bag, Roman Stud bag, and mini backpacks, as well as Ready-to-Wear pieces such as shorts, tees, pleated skirts, hoodies, bucket hats, and footwear, the collection is available at selected Valentino boutiques globally, including Marina Bay Sands Singapore, Westfield Sydney, and Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
