Tumi’s Holiday Collection 2010

Tumi prides itself on quality, practicality, versatility and most importantly, functionality. Known for its own combination of nylon that makes the bag unable to be slashed and cut through (someone tampering with our luggage when travelling is an all too familiar feeling for most of us).

I have never taken much of a liking towards Tumi because it seems more masculine, as well as more of function over fashion. But I’m starting to notice them, as they’ve started to incorporate fashion into their designs as well. What brought on this change of heart? Well, I love the leopard prints that they have done for their F/W 2010 collection.
And what’s even better, is that for this year’s Holiday Collection, Python, Lizard and Black Snake prints and embossed leathers take centrestage as Tumi ventures into the wild, taking on the exotic route offering something for both men and women.
For women, the convertible Lucerne Hobo (that can be converted into a tote bag by removing the detachable straps) is this season’s must-have, and available in 5 different prints.

The Lucerne Hobo/Tote in Black Snake, Brown Python and Bronze Python- RM 1,260 each

The Carry More in Leopard printed Hair Calf – RM 6,390

And for the men, the small accessories for their tech toys and gadgets such as the iPad and iPhone case are the latest additions to Tumi’s existing SLG collection. The Capra Grey Lizard (lizard printed embossed leather) makes its debut for Holiday 2010.

iPad case – RM 400

iPhone case – RM 230

Tumi’s Holiday collection will be available at Pavilion and KLCC in January 2011.
