Two weeks ago, I curated my favourite picks from Valentino’s FW12-13 collection and I’ve been going on and on so much about the Rockstud that you probably already have that drummed into your heads that it’s currently one of the bags on my wishlist.

Also from the brand’s Fall/Winter 2012-13 collection, though not officially named as such, I’ve nicknamed them the “Harness” bags due to the abundance of buckle details on them.

Honestly, I’m not at all a big fan of these Harness bags. Although new to Maison Valentino for Fall/Winter 2012-13, the brand’s Rockstud and Aphrodite bags still have my heart because the Harness seems to be lady-like in terms of its shape and structure, and yet with a tinge of dominatrix with all the buckles going on. I can’t make up my mind whether it’s going for the timid dominatrix (the irony!) or a dominatrix who’s masquerading as a goody two shoes but yet can’t successfully mask her dominant side. Thoughts?
