Prada Jumps on Green Bandwagon with BYO Bags
Prada has recently launched a new line of bags called B.Y.O, which stands for “Bring Your Own”. Although they have not explicitly stated that this is in fact their “Green” line in support of the “No Plastic Bags Campaign” that follows in the footsteps of Anya Hindmarch’s “I’m Not a Plastic Bag”, the fact that it’s called Bring Your Own bags already implies this move towards social responsibility to the environment.

Made of Prada’s signature nylon (or tessuto), a material that is known for its durability, this line of printed bags are super lightweight, at just 150 grams. BYO bags also come in Prada’s logo version, which is a throwback to their line of “Heritage” bags with the exact embossed logo on jacquard (shown below). The logo version is made of cotton and linen, with leather handles. All retail BYO Bags retail at £180.
