The Verdict:  I was a tad disappointed that there wasn’t a single Miss Marc bag on the runway and would have loved a preview, of what (dis)guise she’s going to appear in for Spring/Summer 2012. But, oh well, that said, I LOVE the colour palette that Marc seems to be using for Marc by Marc Jacobs for Spring/Summer 2012! While there were some existing shapes and styles on the catwalk (yes, I’m referring to the shoulder hobo with the chevron detailing, as well as his usual standard supply totes although those seem to have doubled in size!), there were also some *ahem* interesting shapes (in both good and bad ways).  Cue the last photo above for the BAD type of “interesting” I’m referring to — the cube-shaped wristlet, only reminds me of one thing… an insulated food bag. As for the GOOD type of interesting, I really love the small patent leather dual pocket colour-blocked top handle bag: firstly, just shove the short handle down flat, and you have a clutch, and secondly, I don’t know about you, but I think those bags could very well pass off as a Fendi creation.

Oh on a side note, I love the colour blocked shoes with ankle straps! (Sorry don’t know shoe-speak I only speak Bags!) lol
