Ok, so we know that Valentino’s signatures are Rosettes and Bows. But this time around, this “Fleurs Couture” tote from Spring 2010 is overkill. Perhaps what the designer was trying to achieve was a rose garden-esque vibe but in the end, it looks more like a contaminated and overgrown rose bush instead. The colour combo is quite, urgh, I really don’t have words to describe it, other than distasteful. Sure the detailing on the leather roses are impressive – the roses look almost life-like – but this tote is just show-stopping for all the wrong reasons.
