Longchamp’s Le Pliage Goes Green

Longchamp‘s iconic Le Pliage  is great, especially as a second bag, a gym bag, an overnight bag, a travel bag, or just to carry around your daily essentials. In fact, many of you probably own the Le Pliage in several colours and sizes. And guess what? The brand has just launched the sustainable edition, known as the Le Pliage® Green, made from recycled nylon  as part of its ongoing efforts to transition to a completely eco-friendly range by 2022.

Longchamp Le Pliage Sustainable

If you’re wondering what’s the same, and how you can tell them apart from the non-sustainable Le Pliage variations, here’s how: The Le Pliage ® Green family has the same tone-on-tone “Russian leather”  trimmings, as well as the race horse embroidery —both of which are distinctively Longchamp. What’s different, however, is that it’s now made with recycled polyamide canvas, and the leather bits at both ends of the zipper closure, come with subtle light green edges.

Apart from the Le Pliage Tote, it also comes in the shoulder bag style (both in S and L), a top handle (in S and M), a travel bag, as well as accessories such as the coin purse and cosmetic case. This debut Le Pliage® Green collection is available in 4 earthy colours such as Forest (olive green), Earth (burgundy), Ocean (navy), and a Limited  Edition in Snow (crisp white).
