Recently, a friend was asking me for recommendations – she wanted a tote bag for day use that looked chic, and yet didn’t really break the bank. Her specifications were, “something roomy enough for work, yet not too office-like so that it can be used for casual days out, but it has to be made of leather”. And this Kate Spade Claremont Drive Marcella tote in dusky pink was what I recommended to her. At RM 2,070, it’s quite a steal for leather because as we all know, a full leather bag would usually retail for approximately RM 6,000 onwards.
Although it comes with a cross body strap, I would personally never recommend using it with the long strap because I really find bags with non-collapsible handles slung cross-body style (trend or no trend) really odd-looking.
