Dior’s Mini Book Tote
When Maria Grazia Chiuri designed the Dior Book Tote, I’m pretty sure we all didn’t expect it to become as popular as it has, to the point that it’s now regarded as an iconic piece, a “must own”, if you will. The open-top Book Tote was roomy, oversized, and though it looks rather simple, it is painstakingly woven, with some even requiring over a million stitches, and over 40 hours to create! Whether to the beach, or as a carry on during flights, the Book Tote is has been extremely popular since its introduction.
Hot favourite as it is, though, some have told me that they find the bag too large for their frame and build, especially those (like myself!) who aren’t all that tall. But guess what, Dior has introduced the Mini Book Tote! Yep, which means good news for vertically-challenged people like me! Available in either the iconic Dior Oblique canvas, or tone-on-tone camouflage, the Mini version gets the same 3-D embroidery treatment as the original!
