So ya’ll know I’m a MASSIVE Valentino fangirl, and because of that, I’m rather disappointed that the latest Joylock Bag, especially the tote style in the large size in black above, kinda reminds me of a cross between Vuitton’s City Steamer, and the Birkin. In fact, this was the first thought that came to mind when I saw the bag. Sure, it’s slouchier and less structured than the aforementioned bags, but I really don’t like this. I know most of you have expressed that you’re already sick of Valentino and all the studs, and find them “so yesterday”, I think that that is really what Pierpaolo Piccioli excels at. And I’m really not a fan of the Joylock at all. Sure, the small shoulder bag style below (in baby blue) doesn’t give off that Birkin vibe, but then again, nothing really that spectacular either, don’t you think? Meh. I certainly expected much more.
