#MFW: Bottega Veneta Fall/Winter 2013 BAGS!

The Verdict: Right on trend, Bottega Veneta goes for smaller bags for the Fall/Winter 2013 season. Mainly of the top handle variety with a frame top, the materials for the FW13 bags are all about contrast and texture, with a combination that one wouldn’t usually expect: luxe exotic skins are juxtaposed against raffia, a material commonly used during the Spring/Summer season, while the House’s signature   nappa leather is fused with wool, also regarded as the key material for this season as seen in most of the looks that came down the runway this time around. The iconic Knot clutch takes an embellished turn today and in hard-cased gilded gold with the weave engraved onto the surface for that added texture. And as for which my favourite bag is in this entire FW13 collection? It’s the one with chain handles and the suede-effect embossed croc – the largest photo in this post of course! ;D
