Longchamp’s New Roseau Bag
Longchamp has refreshed their signature Roseau family, which first made its debut in the 1990s, with a new look for Spring/Summer 2020. Inspired by the duffle coat button (think Paddington Bear’s coat), the Roseau‘s distinctive feature rests on the toggle-styled bamboo-shaped closure. In comparison to its predecessor, this newer version of the bag is now available in soft lambskin, comes with larger handles with its bigger bamboo-closure slides onto a leather cord.
As we saw on the Longchamp runway at New York Fashion Week, the Roseau is the brand’s key bag for the SS20 season. Available in 4 sizes including a brand new mini size (below) and in three colours (red, platinum, and bi-colour styles in a mix of velour and suede), the Roseau is now available at all Longchamp boutiques worldwide, and dropping in boutiques in Malaysia tomorrow – just in time for Christmas!
Personally, I find the new mini size which comes with a detachable chain shoulder strap super adorable, and I’m totally smitten by it, especially this one right here, in the blue-teal colourway. And believe me when I say this, because apart from their new graphic LGP Logo bags I haven’t really loved a Longchamp bag as much as I love this. *insert heart eyes emoji here*
