Gucci‘s Pre-Fall 2020 collection, entitled “Towards the Sun”, is a celebration of colour, and all about lending some sunshine to our lives, amidst the doom and gloom of the COVID-19 pandemic. And, to brighten up this current global crisis, the House has reinterpreted the best-selling Marmont 2.0 collection in a pastel palette.

For the first time, the double G logo on the Marmont 2.0 bags come in a new shiny silver finish, as opposed to the antique or aged brass hardware that we’ve been accustomed to seeing on these bags. The flap bag, which comes in mini, small and medium, the camera case (mini and small), as well as the top handle version of the Marmont bags, are now available in delectable mono-coloured sorbet coloured shades, like light blue, baby pink, pastel yellow, and water green, as well as a multicoloured version with a diagonal striped quilting in a combination of these 4 shades.

I don’t know about you, but it really is refreshing to see pastel-coloured bags, especially in macaron-colours such as these, because there really aren’t many bags in these colours, especially that lovely mint-esque water green hue.
