Fendi’s Dotcom Bag

Remember the bag that we kept seeing on almost every look that came down the Fendi Spring/Summer 16 runway? That’s the latest It bag of the season, the everyday Dotcom bag. While its namesake suggests that it may be something to do with the Internet, this bag has nothing to do with connectivity or virtuality. Instead, the name comes from the contrast nailhead-esque dot in front of the bag that is similar to those on the handles of the By The Way Bag.

This structured yet supple bag comes with a contrast-coloured pouch, with its colour peeking out from the inside, just above the front dot. Available in one size only,  the leather version comes in five different colours — black with an electric blue pouch, dove grey with red, blue with black, bark brown with pink, and ice grey with black. With the removable contrast-coloured pouch that converts into a zip-top clutch, a collapsible handle, and a wide long strap, it’s definitely the perfect office-friendly day-to-night bag.

The new Dotcom bag, is like having two bags in one because it’s a very structured and functional bag, but, at the same time, you can take out  small flat pouch from it. A multifunctional aspect that has been reworked with creativity — Silvia Venturini Fendi —

Soon becoming a celebrity favourite, here’s the Dotcom bag with the wide Strap You strap on Jessica Alba and Rita Ora.
