The Verdict: It looks as if Miuccia isn’t the only one doing patent this season. The House of Valentino seems to have adopted this trends as well. As expected, his signature oversized bow detail makes an appearance on the runways, and this time, on a framed bag, along with some hard-cased, box-like bags that might be more suitable for evening use. There really isn’t much for me to comment on in this F/W 2010 collection, except for one thing: it seems as if the House of Valentino has decided to comb through recent design archives and reissued Valentino’s Histoire bag, but in a smaller pochette-like version.
