I know I just wrote about Dolce & Gabbana a couple of days ago, but really, can we just discuss this encyclopaedia box bag from their Fall/Winter 16 runway collection? I’m all for quirk, especially when it looks like this! I just really love how they look like legit hardback leather bound volumes with the gold hot-stamped borders and the fact that the surface isn’t flat so it really looks as if some of the “books” are sticking out further than others. Maybe it’s the academic in me but I really really can’t get over how amazing this looks. Plus, it would definitely make for a great collector’s item.

I haven’t seen the bag up close yet and I’m not sure whether Malaysia would even carry this design since this is an exclusive runway piece, but from the looks of it, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s quite heavy. There’s a detachable shoulder strap for this too, but I think it looks way more adorable when carried by the top handle.

For those of you who’ve been long-time readers of this blog, you’d know that I LOVE the Louis Vuitton Petite Malle bag, and this encyclopaedia box bag is right up there with it on my lust list!
