Selena Gomez has collaborated with Coach on a Limited Edition collection comprising SLGs such as wristlets, key fobs and a small zippered pouch that dangles from a keyring, as well as a top handle bag, called the Selena Grace. However, I’m not a fan of the bag because if this is in any way to appeal to her fans, the top handle purse looks way too mature.

But, speaking as a non-Selena Gomez fan, what I really love about the Coach x Selena Gomez is the positivity that comes with it, which is captured by way of the phrases “Love yourself first” and “To be you is to be strong”. These are, in my opinion, great reminders for all of us, because, especially in an age where social media is such a big part of our lives, it’s really easy for haters out there get to us and plant seeds of self-doubt within ourselves. Haters are always gonna hate no matter what we do or say, and we certainly can’t please everybody. For our own sanity, all we can (and should!) do is to be the best versions of ourselves because we don’t need their validation. These phrases in her handwriting, are certainly great doses of positivity, which we can take with us (if we purchase something from the collection!) wherever we go, because haters and naysayers shouldn’t be given that much power over us.
