Spotlight On: The Making Of The New “Miss Dior” Bag

The new “Miss Dior” bag from the Maison’s Fall/Winter 2011-12 collection would appeal to a younger crowd. I mean, to label the bag “Miss” is itself an obvious hint. Often confused with the “New Lock”- I mean, I myself admit that when I saw this, I actually thought that it was the “New Lock” because of the similar style, shape and structure of the bag – the “Miss Dior” is available in leather as well as exotic croc this season.
So what exactly goes into the making of this bag?

Most luxury designer bags (regardless of the brand) are usually handmade (and that’s why they’re so expensive) and the Miss Dior is no exception. The “Miss Dior” takes a whole day for an expert Atelier to assemble. Now, Let’s take a look at the process and various steps that go into the crafting of the bag.
