Quirky DSquared Silk Twill Tote

Those of you know know me on a personal level, I’m sure it’s no surprise that I ADORE the quirky print on this silk twill shoulder bag from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection. For those who don’t know me, yes, I love quirky illustrations like these, and fashion illustrations by Jordi Labanda and of course, Ruben Toledo. Available in two colours (both are shown above) I love the green and fuchsia combo as it comes off as more unique rather than beige and orange colour combo, which is quite a standard combination, really. I also can’t help thinking that the fact that it’s made of silk twill, sort of resembles 2 large scarves (except with a more fun and whimsical print) being stitched back-to-back, no? After all, the Hermes Ja’ime Mon Carre scarf event has shown that it is possible to convert an Hermes scarf into a shoulder bag, and virtually almost anything that your imagination permits.

Pre-Order (ships by the end of March 2011) this DSquared shoulder bag with the drawstring and ruffled petal-esque top for € 314.17 via Luisa via Roma. And yes, Luisa via Roma ships to Malaysia! ;D
