#PFW: Valentino FW17 Bags Report
I know that many of you have grown tired of the Valentino Rockstuds by now, because several of you have told me that, either via email, direct message on Instagram, or you’ve left comments right here. Personally, I’m a MASSIVE fan of studs, so I still love them as much as I used to when the Rockstuds were first introduced. But, for Valentino’s Fall/Winter 17 collection, Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli has toned it down a little, especially on the new saddle-shaped bag, and the flap bag with double top handles. And then there’s the envelope-styled bag with the Valentino logo which I think looks quite sweet, especially in that shade of blush. The leather 3D floral appliqué bags too look super feminine but my favourites of course, are the studded flap bags and the one with the whipstitched chain all around the edges which is quite ingenious because it’s always either leather or chiffon that are commonly used for whipstitched, but never chains! Love love love! I haven’t really liked a lot of bags in a long time these days (which is also probably the reason why some of you who follow me on Instagram have noticed that I’ve been buying more shoes of late), but here’s one that’s going to go straight to the top of my wishlist!
