#PFW: Chloé’s Spring/Summer 18 Bag Report
Natacha Ramsay-Levi presented her debut Spring/Summer 2018 collection for Chloé, and the first thing she did, was revamp the strap of the “Drew” bag by giving it an edgier and chunkier chain-like multi-ringed shoulder strap. Also, since detachable bag straps are all the rage, she added a wide canvas strap to the Drew, and onto the stackable bags that are also currently trending for this Fall/Winter season . I guess you could say that straps were what she was focusing on for SS18 because she seems to be adding multiple straps to a lot of the bags that we saw coming down the runway. Sure it may be a novel idea, but, I don’t think I’d be someone who wants more than one shoulder strap dangling from my bag because it just takes away the focus on the bag, plus it just looks kinda odd. However, when all is said and done, I really like the new chain shoulder strap on the Drew. I’ve never really warmed up to the Drew since it was introduced but, with this shoulder strap, I may be beginning to warm up to it.
