The Verdict: Similar to the Spring/Summer 2011 collection, Fendi continues with structured bags for Fall/Winter 2011. Fendi’s latest “It” bag, the Silvana, is also being carried into FW11, but this time, with a Native-American typed motif. Is this a prediction that it will outlast its “It” status and morph into a Fendi staple like the Baguette? Well only time can answer that question. As a whole, I’m not a fan of this collection. It’s a tad safe and boring, and what is up with those canvas totes? Even the exotic skinned box clutches embellished with gemstones look rather “blah”. Spring/Summer 2011 was better by milestones, imho.
