#MFW: Fendi Fall/Winter 17 Bags Report
The bags mixed the vintage with the modern: Fendi’s classic FF Zucca monogram, which came in the classic dark and light brown colours, in red, as well multicoloured velvet with an embroidered monogram, as well as the Pequin stripe, now in a diagonal formation, instead of vertical on the new Kan I bags. And then there’s the new Fendi logo with the F laying in a diagonal position on its side, with a circle encased around it. This juxtaposition between the old and the new was also reflected in the silhouettes that came down the runway: classics like the Peekaboo and the carry-over style from the Fall/Winter 16 and Spring Summer 17 seasons, the Kan I bag, were spotted, alongside the latest structured boxy top handle bag with contrast-coloured piping, the Run Away bag.
I, for one am really loving the new Fendi logo on the Baguette. Although I’m not a monogram fan, my fave piece would have to be the Baguette with the Pequin stripe and Zucca, right on top of this post. What about you?
