Love It or Hate It: Marc Jacobs Flourescent Tweed Bag
I think I’m possibly forming a Love-Hate relationship with Marc Jacobs. Either that, or he’s schizophrenic. I mean, how else can one explain his tastes? On some occasions, he comes up with something as fab as this season’s studded Jet tote and “Mania” tote, and all we have to do is blink and eye and he comes up with something as drab and horrid as today’s featured Flourescent Tweed bag. I’m sorry Marc, but from the patent trims to the monochromatic tweed that comes embellished with neon stones that look like “I-don’t-know-what-to-do-with-my-leftover-candies-from-Halloween-so-I-shall-use-it-as-an-embellishments” as an afterthought, there are only two words that can describe this bag: El Cheapo.
