If you remember, I blogged about Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2011 defile collection not too long ago. I’ve finally had a look at the collection, and the common thread that ties the handbag collection together seem to be in the details – tassels as well as the weave (whether presented as woven panels on the bags, on the handles and straps, or as entire basket weave totes).

While the Bamboo bag resumes its role for an encore, the Snaffle Bit Bag (which is available in a bright hues such as orange, violet, green, and blue) and features Gucci’s iconic horsebit detail in another variant, makes its debut this Spring (see pics below).

And now, there are some Man Bags too!

Collection will be in stores come March 2011. Prices are unavailable at this moment, but will be updated once the price list has been released, so stay tuned!
