So far, I have only been loving what Creative Director Alessandro Michele has done to Gucci’s handbags and leather goods. The Dionysus is amazing, and so is the Padlock shoulder bag.  Rounding off my Top 3, is this Animalier shoulder bag from the Cruise 2016 collection. The knotted leather shoulder strap breathes new life into a classic rectangular flap top shoulder bag, making it seem like it’s a kind of shoulder bag-satchel hybrid, thanks to the strips of leather that dangle over the bag’s flap. The heavy aged brass tiger clasp also adds some edge and transforms the bag into something feminine, yet feisty at the same time!

My favourite is this bi-coloured version featured above (RM 9,020), but if you prefer solid colours, it’s also available in Black, Brown, and Purple.
