You might have seen a Dior bag that kinda somewhat looked like the Montaigne, but not quite. Well then, mystery solved, it’s actually the new Caro bag, which was first unveiled at the Cruise 2021 show. It has that same CD logo clasp, but that’s where it ends, really, because when it comes to distinguishing between the two, it’s all in the details. The Caro is made of supple solid coloured leather, has an allover Cannage quilting, is rectangular in shape, and comes with a delicate chain shoulder strap made from the same CD links that you see on the clasp.

Available in 2 sizes (small and large) and in colours such as black, grey, and beige, the Caro will be added to the Maison’s roster of classic pieces, so you’d be seeing these in different colours every season. This season, you’d also find them in raspberry pink, ocean blue, nude, and cognac, along with gradient effect versions in burgundy and pink alongside exclusive variations in denim canvas, and the Tie & Dior motif.
