Bottega Veneta’S FW15 Shoulder Chain Bags

These days, as bags are getting smaller and smaller, it is near impossible to find a chic and elegant shoulder bag that are small enough, yet would hold all your necessities.  This Fall/Winter 15 season, Bottega Veneta does just that, as it puts its focus on the Intrecciato Shoulder Chain bags.

One of my favourite designs from the Bottega Veneta Fall/Winter 15 runway, is this camera bag-styled intrecciato bag with the dossier-like detail in the middle.  From the juxtaposition of textures between intrecciato and smooth leather, to  to the black stitching and leather piping, this baby is all about contrast!  Though this shade of green is called Irish, rest assured, it won’t leave you looking like a leprechaun 😉

For a more ladylike touch, opt for this square Nappa leather intrecciato shoulder bag that was inspired by a 1976 design from the Bottega Veneta archives. With 2 main compartments, a central compartment and an invisible magnetic flap closure, the longer strap-length is great if you don’t want something that rests snugly under and against your well, armpits. =P

Compact she may be, but this mini shoulder bag in Nappa leather sure packs a powerful punch. With its gusseted accordion-styled sides, she isn’t only slightly expandable, but this also means that you have more space for your essentials, and then some. What’s unique about this piece is the engraved micro-weave detail on the push-button clasp.

This new slitted artisanal technique in Karung (an exotic lizard) leather certainly makes it less feminine, a little more bada$$. Using meticulous embroidery work, the laser-cuts begin from the sides of the front panel, and depending on the style. To protect both the top and bottom leather parts, a metal film is positioned between the lower Vernice leather and upper Karung skin. A total of 6,000 stitches finish off these seemingly haphazard slits.

You already know which my favourite is, so take your pick, which would it be?
