Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!!! *makes horrified face* I’m a total Balenciaga fangirl, but if Creative Director Demna Gvasalia really continues in this direction, I will no longer be one! I mean, I thought after Fall/Winter 16 we were rid of those market bags already, but it really seems to be something that he isn’t just holding onto, but also DEVELOPING! This season, we see those famed market bags in new colourways, some in the floral variety, and even a more “luxurious” version in what appears to be embossed snakeskin on leather! And then, these new circular bags that, honestly, really look like portable poufs/ottomans. All I can say is #nowords. I really AM that speechless and appalled. Oh, but I guess those pouf-bags would come in handy when you’re really tired because you can plonk yourself on them, or use it as a footstool. #semantics
