Newsflash: Tiffany & Co Launches Handbag Collection for Men and Women
Tiffany & Co. launches a leather goods line that will be available in select Tiffany & Co stores across the United States beginning Septemeber 1st 2010.
Here’s a preview of the pieces from the collection, all of which are lined in Tiffany & Co’s signature Robin Egg Blue:
First up, the “TRT”, which stands for Tiffany Reversible Tote. This is MY ABSOLUTE FAVE from the collection, which is why I featured it first. Love the simple, chic and supple design. In this case, less definitely is more!
Interior view of the TRT. Since it’s reversible, it’s 2 bags for the price of one! Simply turn it inside out for a more subdued, look if you’re not in the mood for metallic.
Next, the “Lyn” clutch.

The “Galaxy” clutch is made of Italian silk and embellished with semiprecious stones and Austrian crystals should do the trick if you want something more luxurious.
The “Avenue” tote in Tiffany & Co’s signature robin egg blue in soft-glazed croc reminds me of Nancy Gonzalez bags.
If you want something more sophisticated and mature, there’s something for you too!
The Laurelton Top Handle bag. However, I can’t be certain whether its watersnake skin or whether it is watersnake embossed on leather.
The “Manhattan” satchel, because satchels are all the rage right now. As the description goes, its versatility allows it to be worn both uptown and downtown.
And lastly, I’ve had numerous requests from guys to feature men’s bags, and apart from the Stefan Diez Papier Bags , I haven’t really featured a Men’s bag!
Anyway, here’s The “Blake Tote”, which is roomy enough for your laptop!
The Verdict: Personally, the only piece I like really want is the “TRT”, which i really hope would be available in Malaysia. Also, apart from the “Avenue” tote in soft-glazed croc, I can’t be sure whether the Exotic skin -like bags are embossed on the leather or whether they are actually Exotic skins like croc and watersnake. We’ll only know for sure when they debut on September 1st!
