Longchamp launches My Pliage® Signature collection for Fall/Winter 2020. Made from 100% recycled polyester created from recycled plastics and plastic bottles, the collection is fully customisable. Once you have selected your desired style – tote (3 sizes), shoulder bag, or travel bag – virtually every single element on the bag, can be tailored to your heart’s content: the selection of your preferred colour for the bag’s body (available in 20 colours), its leather trims (choose from 5 colours), the press stud on the flap (15 colours to select from), as well as the zipper pull, The only problem you may face, is that you won’t know which to pick because you’ll be spoilt for choice! Made for colour-blocking, the tote can then be personalised with your very own initials, emblazoned onto the front of the bag using an eco-friendly water-free transfer printing process, to make a bold statement. You can then opt for text or numbers to be hot stamped onto the bag’s flap, just above the press stud button closure.

If you’re not a fan of recycled polyester, there’s also the customisable My Pliage Cuir, available in the tote style (4 sizes, from XS to L), crossbody bag, and backpack. Like the My Pliage Signature, the bag’s body, leather trims, and snap buttons, can be customised. But, here’s something a little extra for the leather versions: you can also pick the colour of the bag’s colour of bag’s interior lining (available in 12 colours).

Personalisation-wise, any initials, text, or numbers will appear as perforations on the bag, but if you’d like something stamped, you can opt for any of these, in 11 colours, including 3 metallic foil colours such as silver, pink gold, or gold.

And for the finishing touch, you also get to stamp anything else you want up to 8 characters in length, on the bag’s leather flap. For this, you can either opt for black or neutral, in one of 2 font styles. Oh, and did I mention, that though this is made of leather, the bag can be folded up, just like the original nylon Le Pliage bags?

Finally, to complete the fully customisable My Pliage trio, is the nylon My Pliage Club, available as a shoulder bag (in S & L sizes), backpack, tote, and travel bag. Just like the other 2, you may select your desired colour for the bag’s body, leather trims, and snap button. What’s different about this, is that in involves embroidery (available in 3 different font styles) on the front of the bag: you can either include a message, or have the Longchamp jockey on a racehorse logo, or the Eiffel Tower. Like the My Pliage Cuir, the bag’s flap can also be personalised with your initials or anything up to 9 characters in length, which would be stamped either in silver, or neutral.

The My Pliage collection launches tomorrow, 22nd September 2020, at Longchamp boutiques at The Gardens Mall, and Suria KLCC.
