Proenza Schouler has recently introduced what they have called the Pins Project collection. Perhaps this personalisation influence came from Anya Hindmarch with her stickers collection. But, the difference between this and Anya’s is that these pins aren’t permanent. I mean, can you imagine the agony and pain of attaching permanent stickers to their bags (even Birkins! *gasp*), phone cases, portfolios, and what-have- yous. With the PS Pin Project, you get something less permanent, and something which you could easily replace and change, thanks to the flat back pins from A-Z and 0-9.

The pins are specially made to fit the Bucket, PS1, Lunchbag, PS1wallet, or the zip-top pouch (including some other styles which I haven’t mentioned) hence the perforated design. Since the perforated bits are on the entire bag, you can virtually DIY your bag with these decorative pins anywhere on the bag! Or, if you don’t fancy the pins, you could also use them as they are, as plain leather perforated bags. Available in either yellow, white, or black (as shown below), prices range from US$375 (small zip pouch) to US$1,885 (medium PS1), while the enamel-and-metal pins retail at US$75 each.
