The Verdict: For Bottega Veneta, it seems to be all about the Fringe for Spring/Summer 2013! While I’m generally not the fringe happy sort, the Olive-y green tote with just the fringe on top seems rather delightful. The iconic Cabat, too, seems to have been given a facelift for SS13 – we see one adorned with appliqué butterfiles and another, more heavily textured, coarser weave with the details in the middle left pointy at each end, resembling a fishbone-effect. Though it goes without saying that what I love most are the knot clutches (when have I not loved them eh?), I’m quite fond of the portfolio-esque bag in a pop of sunshine yellow croc, and because of that, is featured as the largest image in this post, which really, says a lot for someone who isn’t a fan of crocodile skins at all!
